A number of annual events and educational days are held across the Estates each year

The Ledston Estate takes part in the Heritage Open Day organised annually by the Civic Trust.  This gives an opportunity for members of the public to visit the gardens and find out more about Ledston Hall and its History from the Estate representative who attends.  The grounds and gardens of Ledston Hall are open free of charge to the public on the Saturday of the event between 10am and 1pm.

Ledston Hall grounds and gardens are open to the public from May to August, Monday to Friday between 9am to 4pm.  We do request that you treat the area with respect and bear in mind that the Hall is also a private residence.  No dogs are allowed and children must be closely supervised.

Another successful Countryside Learning event

The annual countryside Live North event was held at Ledston Estate last May and the Otterden Education day held in June. Both were a great success with reasonable weather and good attendance of children and teachers. Highlights included falconry displays, woodland talks, livestock and getting to sit on Mr Bakers Tractor.
